Polar Power

Strength is a means to an end, not the ultimate goal. Whether you are a full-time or recreational athlete, a parent trying to keep up with your kids, or an avid gardener, you need POWER, the ability to generate force quickly. This a dynamic class designed to enhance your power and functional fitness. You'll use versatile tools like kettlebells and sandbags to engage in functional movements that mimic real-life actions. Focusing on the muscle-mind connection will improve your ability to generate force quickly and efficiently, leading to better performance in sports and everyday activities.

Glacier Flow

Being strong is pointless if you can’t tie your shoes. A healthy joint rests on three pillars: range of motion, stability, and strength of the interacting muscle involved in the movement. Passive stretching produces temporary results related to muscle relaxation; in contrast, mobility training creates long-lasting results for a healthier and more resilient body.

This class focuses on teaching bodyweight exercises, mainly on the ground. It follows a joint-by-joint approach to guarantee that every joint is trained correctly. Mobile joints increase motion range, and stable joints become more stable. These exercises are safe and can be adapted to any level of athleticism, so we recommend this class to advanced athletes and our senior neighbors.

Alaska Strong

Your body can be your own gym if you know how to use it. This bodyweight strength class will utilize your body to build muscle and increase strength. Expect a combination of compound exercises based on classic calisthenics, without fancy whistles and bells,  to challenge different muscle groups and skill levels.

The class will be structured to provide a full-body workout focusing on proper overload. Lifting heavy weights is a fundamental skill for learning how to use external resistance; bodyweight training is the best tool for learning how to use your body correctly and building physical resilience.
